Creating Models
My Models offers several ways to create business models:
Starting from a Template
The easiest way to get started is to use one of our pre-built templates. We offer templates for financial forecasting, marketing planning, operations management, and more.
Building from Scratch
If you have specific requirements, you can build a model from scratch. Our model builder provides a flexible interface for defining variables, formulas, and visualizations.
Importing Existing Models
You can import existing models from Excel, CSV, or other formats. Our import wizard will guide you through the process of mapping your data to our model structure.
Running Models
Once you've created a model, you can run it to generate results. Here's how:
Entering Input Data
Before running a model, you'll need to enter input data. This can include historical data, assumptions, and other parameters that your model needs to generate results.
Running Scenarios
My Models allows you to run multiple scenarios to see how different inputs affect your results. This is useful for sensitivity analysis and planning for different outcomes.
Viewing Results
After running a model, you can view the results in various formats, including tables, charts, and dashboards. You can also export the results for use in other applications.
API Reference
My Models provides a RESTful API for programmatic access to your models. This is useful for integrating My Models with other applications and automating model runs.
Authentication
To use the API, you'll need to authenticate using an API key. You can generate an API key in your account settings.
API Endpoints
The API provides endpoints for creating, reading, updating, and deleting models, as well as running models and retrieving results.
